THE GASTRONOMY OF OUR REGION IS VERY RICH AND HIGHLY MARKED BY THE  FLAVOURS OF THE PORTUGUESE TRADICIONAR CUISINE. 

Our specialities go from anho e cabrito assado em forno de lenha com arroz de miúdos (lamb roasted in a wood-fired oven with gizzard and liver rice), Bacalhau à Porto Antigo (Codfish Porto Antigo style), Posta de vitela de raça arouquesa (Arouquesa veal cutlets), traditional smoked meat, Cozido à Portuguesa (boiled meat, sausages, cabbage, carrots, turnips, potatoes, rice and butter beans), Arroz de lampreia ou à Bordalesa (Rice of lamprey or Bordalesa style) or still the grilled trout, fished in the river Bestança. In the confectionery, stands out the butter or pumpkin sweets, rabanadas (Christmas speciality) from Cinfães, among other convent sweets.We present also a very wide list of wines, with brands from our region.

Besides enjoying a breathtaking view, the Serpa Pinto room still has facilities that allow the carrying out of conferences, reunions, weddings or other special services, with a capacity for 170 people. We still count with a Bar/Lounge with surround music and a TV and video room with several games always at your disposal. If you prefer, you may lunch or dinner in the terrace, where you will enjoy all services of the restaurant, bar and grill and be delighted with an unique sunset.
